The game of three card poker consists of the player competing against the dealer and not playing against other players. As a player in 3 card poker you're required to get a better hand than the dealer or get a hand that ends up in a pair or higher in order to win the betting round. The edge house edge in 3 card poker is around 3.4%.

There isn't too much strategy involved in 3 card poker so all I can do is offer you the following two tips as a guideline for you to follow when you're playing the game.

• If you're dealt a Queen or better, place a bet in the "Play" spot otherwise it's advised to fold as the chances are that the dealer will have a hand superior to your own.
  
  
• Approximately ever 2/3 hands the dealer will have a queen and qualify.
  
  
• Out of ten hands four hands will win the ante bonus.
