3 Card Poker is an easy game to follow and is really fun to play. It is a game that is played with a standard 52 deck of cards. At the beginning of each round the player and the dealer are dealt three cards each (shuffling of the deck takes place after each round). In the game of three card poker straights have a higher ranking then a flush since there are more ways you can make a flush and less ways to make a three card straight. You can use aces for either high or low in the game of 3 card poker. In three card poker there are bets that players can make which can effect the game payout. These are the Ante bet and the Pair Plus bet. In the case of the Ante bet the players is charged a fee in order to play the actual hand. Where as with the Pair Plus bet the player bets that they will get at least a pair or higher. It's not required that a player makes both bets, but the player must make the Ante bet at least if he or she wishes to play. Players ante in on each round of game play by placing their bet in the ante spot on the game table. The player and dealer are then dealt three cards each face down, the player then will decide if they think that their cards are adequate to bet against the dealer or they can fold. If a player folds their hand they automatically lose their ante. Should a player decide to play against the dealer they'll have to place a bet equal to their ante bet in the "Play" spot on the table. Should the player win the hand they'll receive both the Ante and the Pair Plus payouts. In order for the dealer to quality they must have a Queen or better. The dealers hand when playing 3 card poker must have a queen or higher to qualify for the round. If the dealers hand doesn't qualify the player will receive a payment on their ante bet which pays at even money as long as the player does not fold. If the player folds they automatically lose their bet. 3 Card Poker Ante Payout Chart
